Is It Love That Blinds People? Or Are You Blinded By Something Else?

Reason #10 you can’t find love is because you are waiting for magic.  It’s amazing when you meet women and they tell you that a man should just know what a woman wants.  In fact, they say it is his job to just know.  That is how things magically happen.  Many women believe if a man does romantic stuff, things

magically fall into place.  

There is no magic in great relationships.  I’m not saying relationships take hard work either.  I’m saying a relationship is like everything else in life.  You put in the effort to produce the results you want and you get them.  

If you go to work every day and sit on your butt waiting for things to magically happen, you will be fired in a short time.  Relationships are no different.  I have already laid out 9 reasons your relationships fail.  Those are just some of the reasons you can’t find love.  

I can go on and on with millions of examples of how you can sit and wait for magic.  By sitting and waiting what you will produce is nothing.  Hollywood has given people a very false sense of reality when it comes to relationships.  In a 90 minute movie, boy meets girl, boy pursues girl, he gets her, then boy loses girl and then boy gets girl back.   It’s a movie.  The movies never show you what it takes and the effort required by both.  

Also, movies use music to elicit emotions.  That gets you caught up in the fantasy.  

Aside from movies, you have the fairytales about Cinderella and Snow White.  All women want to be one of those characters and men want to be the prince riding the horse.  Like the movies, everything just magically happens.  As long as people use fairytales and movies as a guide for a relationships, you will not find love.  You will find disappointment. 

I know.  I know.  Some of you say you still believe in the fairytale. And everything will eventually magically happen.  You call yourselves hopeless romantics.  Well, I’ve written a book that deals with the reality of creating a great relationship.  I’ll be back to talk to you about it soon.  Until then, today was the #10 reason you cannot find love.
