For centuries, men have been hunters. They went on the hunt and brought home
the game. In modern society, they
present game, go to work and bring home the bacon. With this expectation, the workforce has traditionally
consisted of mostly men. In 2019,
the workforce consists of
mostly women.
How does that affect the rules of dating?
This past Sunday on Straight Talk, with Ted Santos and Blair Nash, we discussed a
topic that has become very complex and sensitive. Since women earn as much and sometimes more than men, will
that change the essence of today’s social and dating structures? So we opened the door to talk about: Here’s
Why Dating Is Failing.
To start, Blair Nash is on vacation in the Bahamas. That left Ted Santos as the solo pilot
on this journey. Even though the
format remained the same because people called in. This show became more of a forum. We had a mix of men and women from different
ethnicities. While there were men
and women in the discussion, there seemed to be common ground.
I took the opportunity to shake the tree of common
ground. What fell out was a
perspective that does not seem to be widely practiced or discussed. However, there appeared to be a strong
case for it. And one caller was
clear that his unconventional method is part of the reason for his success in
dating, relationships and now his marriage.
