This provocative topic will allow me to introduce an
important idea that is completely overlooked in relationships. At the same time, it is an opportunity
to look at the so-called
problem of infidelity from a fresh perspective.
In most cases, the question focuses on why men cheat. The view is almost never holistic. In reaction to men’s infidelity, women
have decided it is appropriate for them to cheat as well. In fact, there are women who believe all
men cheat. As a result, they are
able to justify their infidelity, even if they have no proof they are in a
relationship with a cheater.
As more women cheat, they fail to realize they may have
never given a man a reason to be faithful to her. A relationship is analogous to your job. If you go to work and fulfill your
duties, you expect to receive a paycheck.
If they provide you with periodic bonuses, you may feel
appreciated. Those bonuses may
incentivize you to do more than what is expected. On the other hand, if the company underpays you or withholds
your check, you may lose any sense of loyalty to your boss and the
enterprise. That is when you begin
to seek career fulfillment elsewhere.
Before you ladies start screaming about what men do or don’t
do, look in the mirror first. The
fact of the matter is, when you are a girlfriend of wife, you have been hired
to provide a service. If you
received quarterly or annual reviews by your lover, would you be able to keep
your job as a wife or girlfriend?
When he points out areas where you can improve relationship performance,
how do you respond? Are you a
professional girlfriend or wife?
These and many more questions need to be answered.
